The University of the Balearic Islands will receive 5 million euros of funding under the program INNOCAMPUS, connected to the Campus of Excellence, which is part of the National Innovation Strategy and granted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. The UIB has been allowed to submit its INNOCAMPUS proposal after passing the first phase of the International Campus of Excellence call.
The UIB plans to boost the promotion of research, as well as the construction, equipping and commissioning of the first phase of buildings dedicated to research, such as the postgraduate studies building, the university – company laboratory, or the enlargement of the Research Results Transfer Office, OTRI.
